      Not yet. I’m hoping to change to a forward facing intake manifold then get it tuned and be done, some where around 600 hp I should produce.

      I really don’t know. Based on my research it sounds like it can be a hazard to change the cap and best to go with the oem one. If I knew that I wouldn’t have changed it. However it seems like I bought the best option if you do buy an aluminum one.

    Why would you run a phase converter on a tl? They should be able to run on single phase.

      I did have it running on 220, but when I bought the milling machine it only runs on 3 phase so my electrician wired up bother machines to a 3 phase converter so both can run at the same time on 3 phase power.

    Do i need to code/program if I buy a used one on ebay? I have 604E, 6054, 6055, and 6057. I'm pretty sure its the module causing it and I'm just wondering if I'll need to program.

      Some modules require to be coded in. My module did not need to be coded in. My car manufacturer date is 04/07, I think the early model cars did not need coding when replacing the module. I used the bimmer pro tool to try to code my module to the car but it would come up with an error code saying not available for my model car.

    Ahhh! the infamous little white motor! I just spent $1,800. + to replace my steering column because the same motor failed in the locked position. When I got the car back, the side mirrors were all screwed up, not stopping. Don't let the grease monkeys work on your bmw. do it yourself or take to dealer, you'll maintain your sanity and won't have a heart attack! PS. Steering works now, (half *ass) but they didn't code new column and other mistakes. CAS fault codes everywhere! It'll have to go to the bmw dealer to correct it.

    I’m going to attempt this in car if replacing the solenoid that hums when the car shuts off doesn’t cure my low boost issue to save a buck, doable? Yay or nay C clamp n socket??? What do you think

      Garrett has a lot of hp ratings of their turbos on there website. I’m guessing 450 hp. The turbine housing and turbine size makes a difference. If you step up to the gtx3071r or gtx3076r the hp potential should be close to 500 gtx3071r and 550 for the gtx3076r. Just changing to a larger turbine housing can increase the ho as well.

    Hey buddy, I have a question, I’m running a GTX3582R Gen II on a Speedtech n54 top mount like yours. They sent me the wrong drain, so I bought a $70 billet VTT -10 billet 45 degree & it hits my manifold. I have another billet -10 short drain which is a base to screw if to the turbo with a -10 male head, I can get that to work but have to clock the center to basically a 45 degree to get it to miss the manifold. Is that ok? It’s gonna be water cooled, I can hook up everything but the drain unless it’s basically at a 45 or close to one❓❓❓

      I fabricated my own drain. I still have stainless tube left over to do another but may need another drain flange. I may have one I’m not sure. The drain on the n54 single turbo have to have the connection 3-4 inches below the turbo or you can’t reach it to remove it. I would not rotate the turbo because the adjustment of all of the other lines will be off and it’s like to leak if you go past 45 degrees

      @@turbolabamerica Thanks for getting back to me! I got mine to work but my line they provided is like an .75” to short. My feed & drain is perfect at 12 o’clock, it’s at like probably 10 to 11ish. I can’t see that really being an issue. I seen a few N54 single turbos & other turbos with the feed & drain not perfectly at 12 o’clock. Hopefully I don’t run into an issue, if I do you know who I’ll be calling lol. I’m sure you’ve seen some feeds at 40 degrees & no problems. I have a ceramic bb GENII GTX3582R. Again thanks for getting back to me, I watch all your videos…👍🏻

    I'd love to lower the back pressure on these stock turbos by doing this. They make waay too much tq down low anyway , win win for the motor and making power
